Hamid joined FVEL in 2016. He is experienced in geotechnical engineering and investigation, geohazard assessment, shallow and deep foundation design, temporary and permanent shoring and retaining wall design.
Hamid holds a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering from University of Alberta in Canada.

Azadeh is a member of FVEL’s Geotechnical team with over 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. She is experienced in geohazard assessment, slope stability analysis, shallow and deep foundation design, retaining wall and shoring design, reinforced earth structures, and numerical analysis. As part of her scope, she is involved in civil-related design, including septic and stormwater management systems.
Azadeh holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy.

Skilled in construction inspections and supervisions, structural analysis and design; responsible for producing structural designs and drawings; in heavy industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, recreational, and office buildings; adept in designing shallow, deep pile foundations, screw piles, and machine foundations (rotating, reciprocating, and impact machines), excavation shoring, and scaffolding/temporary works, lighting pole analysis and foundation design

Vahid holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from UMZ Iran. He has over 12 years of experience in the design and construction of steel and concrete structures, mainly residential and commercial buildings, in highly seismic regions of Iran.
After moving to Canada, he graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia with an MEng degree in Integrated Wood Design, enabling him to expand his knowledge and experience in the design of wood structures. He is enthusiastic about using structural analysis and design software to achieve accurate and reliable design solutions.

I have worked for more than 10 years in Canada on civil projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. As a Civil Designer, I have dealt with surveyors, created civil engineering drawings, and helped design storm sewers, parking lots, and roads using geometric standards and CAD software. In my career I have been working for major Mining and Oil and Gas projects, offering solutions either individually or as a part of a team. At Fraser Valley, I found a company that really commit with its clients completing projects within timeframe and budget.
